We are looking for Security Officers (must be 21yrs or older) to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, customers, and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel throughout the Chicagoland area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Enforces security policies and procedures at all events.
Qualifications:
Must be 21yrs or older.
Must pass background check.
ACTIVE 2027 ILLINOIS PERC card – Required.
20hr Basic Security Training Certificate – Required.
3+ years of recent security experience.
Excellent Customer Service Skills.
Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
Sound Judgment.
Dependability.
Professionalism.
Open Availability.
Working Conditions:
Some sites consist of outdoor posts ONLY that will involve inclement weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:
