Information Security Assurance Specialist
We are hiring an Information Security Assurance Specialist who will be responsible for by identifying and solving potential and actual security risks from log files, alerts, notifications, and reports generated from automated systems and tools. This individual will also review policies, processes, and procedures to reduce security threats and improve the overall security posture of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in information systems, computer engineering, or a related field.
Two (2) years of experience in computer support, information systems, computer programming or a related field.
Valid Florida driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Three (3) years of experience in developing and delivering IT related training.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
IT related Industry certification(s).
Essential Job Functions:
Conduct security assessments and evaluations of our organization’s information systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
Monitor and analyze security-related events and incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate or prevent potential threats.
Research, evaluate, and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance the organization’s security posture.
Stay current with new and emerging information technology related training and communicate this information to the appropriate stakeholders.
Collaborate with other members of the Information Technology team, as well as with other departments within the organization, to ensure that IT training requirements meet the needs of the organization.
Proactively participate in technology related groups and associations.
