Position Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, 2:30pm-10:30pm
Here is What You Will Do
This position is responsible for supporting the facilities of UV and CRJHS and ensuring the safety of staff, students, and community members. The campus, consisting of several buildings, is located in South Minneapolis and serves over 15,000 community members and program participants each year.
Specific Responsibilities
Patrol and secure buildings and grounds to check for potential security and safety hazards, fire, water leaks, and general building security, reporting all irregularities, emergencies, or suspicious activity
Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
Create access cards and staff/student IDs
Adhere to company service and operating standards
Check permits on vehicles parked on campus
Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls
Provide directions to buildings, offices and other general information to visitors
Writes reports on incidents occurring on campus
Complete a daily check-out list
Provide excellent customer service
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Experience
18+ years of age
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of one years previous experience
Capable of following complete instructions
Proficient computer skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An understanding of and commitment to the faith-based mission and values of Urban Ventures and Cristo Rey Jesuit High School
