Regional Audio Video Experts, Inc. (RAVE) is seeking a skilled Alarm and Access Control Technician/Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and configuring security systems for our clients. Your expertise will ensure that our clients’ properties are secure, providing them with peace of mind and top-notch security solutions.

We truly enjoy the relationships that we build with our clients. We specialize in customization during our installations and, if we can not purchase a piece of equipment, we will create one.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform electrical installations and connections for a variety of security systems.
Install and configure dual access alarms, cameras, IP systems, CAT cables, and pull and terminate cables.
Collaborate with the Lead Security Installer to plan and execute the setup of complex security networks.
Ensure all installations meet electrical standards and comply with local codes.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues related to security system installations.
Provide training to clients on the electrical components of their new security systems to ensure safe and effective use.
Maintain and update installation records, including detailed electrical layouts and client specifications.
Stay informed on the latest electrical safety protocols and security technology advancements.
Provide mentorship and support to junior electrician installers, fostering a knowledgeable and safety-conscious team.
Programming and automation experience is a plus!
The ideal candidate should possess:
Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on security systems installations.
Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems involved in the installation of surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
Experience in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints relevant to security installations.
Proficiency with electrical tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety gear.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to electrical details.
Strong communication and team coordination abilities to lead smaller projects and assist on larger ones.
Reliable, dependable, fit, and flexible; able to hustle all day to get the job done.
Eager to learn and continue training to gain experience and earn more.
Valid electrician’s license and driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work in various environments, manage the physical requirements of the job, and adhere to safety standards.
Relevant electrical or security system certifications (e.g., NEC, CEDIA, ESA) are preferred.
