Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Operations Manager to oversee our security operations and ensure the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage security teams, develop security protocols, and respond to incidents with professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills and a background in law enforcement or military operations is a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures.
Oversee daily security operations, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
Manage and train security personnel, fostering a culture of safety and vigilance.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
Coordinate surveillance activities, including the use of CCTV systems to monitor premises.
Respond promptly to incidents, conducting investigations as necessary.
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to enhance security measures.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security-related activities.
Provide conflict management support during high-stress situations to ensure resolution.
Requirements
Proven experience in a security management role or similar position.
Background in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV technology.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; additional training in loss prevention is a plus.
Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet operational demands.
Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to security operations.
