Position Overview:

The Security Analyst supports AES US Infrastructure Security by ensuring secure access and safeguarding information in compliance with policies and standards including NERC and CIP.

This role involves monitoring alarm events, intrusion alerts, threat systems, and communication requests within the Security Operations Center. The position requires working a 10-hour shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

About the Role:

We seek a skilled ISOC Analyst with experience in security operations, NERC/CIP compliance, physical security, and access management. The role involves monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to protect our organization’s assets and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor camera systems and security events.

Process requests from multiple facilities.

Analyze security data from SIEM, access control, and camera systems.

Support NERC/CIP compliance by monitoring access and initiating alarms.

Manage physical security systems like access control and surveillance.

Respond to incidents and coordinate risk mitigation.

Maintain security documentation and support projects.

Collaborate across departments for comprehensive security coverage.

Handle multiple incidents and communicate effectively across platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with NERC/CIP standards.

Proficiency with Microsoft, SharePoint, Power BI.

2-5 years in physical security systems.

Law enforcement or police communication experience is a plus.

Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or ASIS are advantageous.

Working Conditions:

24/7/365 operations center.

Shift work on days, nights, or evenings.

Onsite requirement; no remote work.

Training for 2 months, with a 12-month proficiency period.

Night shift schedule (Wednesday to Saturday) post-training.

Flexible schedule to meet staffing needs and pass background checks, including TWIC for NERC/CIP compliance.
