Participate in the definition of application security functions and services, security architecture and security aspect of the solution designs
Establish processes and create technical tools for secure development
Support the organisation in the implementation of DevSecOps practices
Work with development teams to ensure secure coding practices are followed (Java, .NET Core,)
Support application teams in the integration with security tooling for security logging and monitoring, encryption in transit and at rest, web application and database firewall set up, backup and disaster recovery testing, etc.
Establish processes, deploy technical tools and onboard applications for automated security testing and handling vulnerabilities (SAST, DAST, IAST, etc).
Coordinate the remediation of finding in application vulnerability screening, dynamic security testing and pen testing
Consultant experience:
Has a university degree on a technical field (engineering, computer science, or similar)
Has at least five years’ experience in IT with two years in the application security domain
Has experience with concepts related to application security and integration with corporate security tools.
Has experience with security related work within agile development, DevOps/DevSecOps, cloud, microservices, automation, and relevant technologies and tools (GitHub, SonarQube)
Has experience implementing, assessing, operating, or developing in a DevOps environment.
Has experience using or implementing common security tools in DevOps pipelines, including but not limited to:
Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
Image scanning
Dependency scanning
Interactive application security testing (IAST)
