Responsibilities: Explore cutting-edge techniques, develop
innovative
methodologies, and advance the practice of secure and safe AI development . Take the lead in closing application security vulnerabilities and resolving related issues. Formulate and implement a tailored application security architecture across the company. Draft guidelines for hardening application security. Engage in comprehensive research to assess AI systems , focusing on devising unique methodologies for proactively identifying and addressing security risks in AI, such as adversarial attacks and model evasion.
Architect and implement security solutions tailored to the specific needs of the organization’s applications and systems. Conduct security architecture reviews and threat modeling for new and existing projects to identify potential security flaws and recommend enhancements. Examine the effects of emerging tech like large language models on AI security, and devise appropriate countermeasures. Work collaboratively with a range of teams, from AI developers to data scientists, embedding security enhancements and best practices throughout the company’s AI development process.
Actively investigate potential threats to ML and AI that might impact the company. Participate in internal research discussions and technical evaluations to enhance secure
scientific rigor
and foster
innovative
approaches. Keep
up-to-date
with the latest in AI & Application security and safety research, participate in conferences, and engage with the security community actively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven 5+ years of experience in software development, AI engineering, or application integrations, with a focus on AI-driven solutions. Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST). Excellent analytical,
problem-solving
, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication
and interpersonal skills , capable of working collaboratively across multiple departments.
Professional certifications relevant to cybersecurity, AI , and application security, such as CISSP, CEH, or specialized AI security certifications . Demonstrated ability to work effectively with
cross-functional teams
, fostering a cooperative environment where different skill sets converge toward common security goals. In-depth knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies, cybersecurity tools , and methodologies. Proficiency in security aspects of large language models, deep learning, and reinforcement learning .
