Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and trained Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. Your primary duty will be to protect against unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
Duties:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security risks
– Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
– Perform security checks on personnel, vehicles, and packages to prevent prohibited items from entering the premises
– Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related incidents
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements:
-If armed, must possess a valid Denver Dept of Excise and Licenses Firearms Endorsement
– Must possess a valid Denver Dept of Excise and Licenses Guard Card
– Previous experience in law enforcement is highly preferred
– Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
– Proficient in first aid and CPR techniques
– Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and CCTV surveillance systems
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally
