Compensation: $35.00/hour base pay

Armed Detention Officer
Job Responsibilities
Maintain security of prisoners in the courtroom.
Escort prisoners to and from the holding cells to the courtrooms using handcuffs, shackles, and other restraints.
Escort prisoners in medical facilities if admitted.
Transport prisoners from correctional institutions to courthouse & medical facilities.
Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Work Hours and Benefits
This position is considered a per-diem role with hours varying week to week.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of detention officer, law enforcement, or military police experience.
State Unrestricted Carry Permit.
State Armed Security License.
