Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. You MUST have a valid Denver Dept of Excise & LIcenses Armed Guard Card. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a strong background in surveillance, conflict management, and law enforcement practices. The Armed Guard will utilize their skills in loss prevention and emergency response to maintain a secure environment. Women are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activities or potential threats.
Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain constant vigilance over the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations effectively to manage conflicts and ensure safety.
Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a security role or law enforcement is preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional emergency response training is a plus.
Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with operating CCTV systems and other security technology.
Must possess a valid armed security license as per state regulations.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Physical fitness to perform duties that may require standing for extended periods and responding quickly in emergencies.
Confidentiality and discretion are required for this position as you will be working with high profile clients.

Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
