Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to enforcing safety protocols.
Duties
Compliance- Violations- Patrol for violations or respond to reports of violations by driving community or going to location- review violations, log violations, contact homeowner by: writing letter- phone call deliver letter to home, monitor responses to notifications, track and collect data relating to violation
Not permitting unauthorized vehicles to enter or park in Oak Run County Club.
Coordinate to check, periodically, all pools, and recreation facilities for unauthorized user, horseplay and persons creating damage or violating recreation rules.
According to the homeowners Declaration of Covenants and the times of operation, unlock and lock designated facilities on the premises.
Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles to make sure all work areas are neat and free from hazards.
Inspect vehicles in between shifts to make sure they are free from damage.
Keep daily Vehicle Maintenance log and report any needed service to Supervisor
Assist in the review of Envera video and Logs of all visitors, employees and vendors.
Respond to resident/guest’s questions and concerns as outlined in the Security Procedure manual
Train on how to make initial investigation on incidents and accidents when the Safety Coordinator or Security Compliance Coordinator is not available
Write reports in a very informative nature. Make sure the appropriate pictures are taken.
Check, as per assigned schedule, warehouses and RV lot, and parking lots for unauthorized vehicles, issuing parking violations when necessary.
Asst Security and Compliance Coordinator to coordinate daily/weekly operations
Assume the responsibility for any and all day-to-day operations, and procedures, including emergency scheduling of personnel when Security and Compliance Coordinator is on vacation
Establish a good working report with shift personnel, residents, management and other employees.
Contact the appropriate department/person when a problem occurs requiring immediate attention.
Maintain all necessary paperwork and logs as instructed by the coordinator.
Observe departing personnel to guard against theft of company property.
Brief incoming Guard with all necessary information.
Act as Back up to Envera requests, monitor Safety and Security Coordinators Emails when needed and respond to questions
Oversee and monitor all Security Cameras for function and angle View
Assist with gate resets when needed
Qualifications
Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems (CCTV).
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
