Job Title: Security Quality Control Inspector
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Quality Control Inspector to oversee and ensure the quality and effectiveness of our security guard team in the field. This role involves conducting site inspections, ensuring guards are fully equipped, and confirming that posts and post orders are followed accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of security guard posts, ensuring compliance with post orders, equipment standards, and uniform regulations.
Guard Evaluation: Verify that security officers are in proper uniform, equipped with the necessary tools, and hold a valid security license. They are alert and executing duties effectively.
Duty Check: Ensure guards are familiar with their duties, capable of performing their roles effectively, and able to sit at their posts when required.
Scheduling Support: Assist in building and updating security guard schedules, ensuring adequate coverage across all shifts.
Guard Touring Software: Learn to read and monitor reports from Guard Touring software, ensuring all necessary information is properly logged and up-to-date.
HR Knowledge: Understand and apply basic HR practices related to security personnel management.
Report Auditing: When in the office, audit security reports, reviewing their accuracy and completeness, and report findings to managers for further action.
Client Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients to address concerns and provide updates on security operations.
Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism in both written and verbal communication, including report writing and client correspondence.
Math Skills: Apply basic math skills when reviewing security reports, schedules, and other related tasks.
Flexibility: Be flexible with your work schedule, including the willingness to work on days off or when coverage is needed.
Required Qualifications:
Driver’s License & Insurance: Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
Non-Commissioned Security License: Must hold a valid non-commissioned security license.
Computer Proficiency: Must be proficient with computers and comfortable using software for reporting and communication (experience with Guard Touring software is a plus).
HR Knowledge: Basic understanding of HR functions as it relates to managing security staff.
Reading & Writing Skills: Strong reading, writing, and communication skills for report auditing, client interaction, and internal communication.
Math Skills: Basic math knowledge for report and schedule management.
Additional Skills & Attributes:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in reports or practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Working Conditions:
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or days off.
Frequent travel to various security sites for field inspections.
Office duties to include auditing reports and coordinating with the management team.
