Armed Security Officer
Duties:
– Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion
– Protect property and personnel by maintaining a high visibility presence
– Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems for any suspicious activity
– Conduct security checks and inspections of designated areas
– Respond to emergencies and incidents, such as medical emergencies or disturbances
– Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities
Requirements:
– Must possess a valid armed security officer license/certificate
– Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security preferred
– Knowledge of surveillance techniques and procedures
– Familiarity with first aid and CPR procedures
– Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques
– Excellent conflict management skills
– Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
