Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate CCTV and surveillance equipment to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety compliance.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports on incidents or breaches.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in security management is a plus.
Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
Valid CPR certificate and first aid training are highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or irregularities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel.
