Position: Armed Security Officer – Chula Vista
Pay: $23 per hour
Hours: 45 hours (full time) – 18 hours (part time); 1 hour of over time per shift.
*** Shift: 7:30 pm – 4:30 am Overnight/Graves
Note: If you interview, we tend to hire on the spot. Please be prepared to work as we will provide a work schedule immediately after being hired.
Requirements:
Valid BSIS Guard Card
Firearm Permit
Must own your own weapon
Reliable transportation
Working cell phone
Must be able to clearly speak, read, and write English
*** Must be physically able to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts or longer
Key Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned as needed)
Create a security presence for our client.
Detect, observe, and report suspicious persons or activities to management or designated staff contact.
Conduct continuous foot patrols of the property to ensure no trespassers gain access. Keeping the area clear of unauthorized visitors.
Work with a team to resolve security issues on property.
Write detailed reports documenting accidents or unusual events.
Access control- Ensure all persons entering the property have been checked and are approved before proceeding to enter the property.
Report faulty equipment on the property that can be a security issue or safety hazard.
Use security equipment to conduct checkpoint scans on the premises.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 experience in contract security is a plus.
Valid BSIS Guard Card.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Dedication to delivering exceptional security services.
Great customer service.
Good report writing skills.
Attention to detail.
