Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and property. This role requires a proactive approach to conflict management and loss prevention, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently. The Armed Guard will utilize their training in law enforcement and surveillance techniques to effectively monitor premises and respond to incidents as they arise.
Responsibilities
Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency calls, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Monitor CCTV systems and maintain surveillance of designated locations.
Enforce security policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with local laws.
Provide assistance during emergencies, utilizing CPR and first aid skills when necessary.
Document incidents, activities, and observations in detailed reports.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing necessary information for investigations.
Conduct regular inspections of security equipment to ensure functionality.
Skills
Strong conflict management abilities to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Background in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
Proficiency in CPR and first aid certification is highly desirable.
Experience with CCTV systems and other surveillance technologies.
Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure while making sound decisions quickly.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration.
