Safeguard Security Group is seeking active or retired law enforcement officers to join our team as Armed Security Guards. We are dedicated to providing top-tier security services, and we need experienced, reliable professionals to help protect our clients, assets, and personnel. We offer flexible full-time and part-time positions in the Gravesend area and surrounding neighborhoods.
Key Responsibilities:
Protect and secure property, assets, and personnel by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence.
Monitor surveillance equipment and respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies.
Enforce safety protocols and access control measures to ensure a safe environment.
Write detailed incident reports as necessary.
Represent the company with professionalism when engaging with clients and the public.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid New York State Armed Security Guard License.
Current NYS pistol permit and firearm training certification.
Active or retired law enforcement experience is required.
Strong situational awareness and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to remain calm and act decisively under pressure.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
