Armed Security Guard (Experienced) – New Orleans Jobs in New Orleans, LA at Ace Prevention Private Security, LLC
Ace Prevention Private Security is looking for an Experienced Armed Security Guard in New Orleans, Daytime/Weekend
Responsibilities:
Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance.
Communicate with management on delivers.
Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly and appropriately.
Greet customers as they enter and leave store.
Perform routine security patrols throughout different sections of the store every hour.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or mall security agencies when necessary.
Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
Advise customers who activate the EAS system when leaving the store to return to the register to ensure sensors have been removed.
Inspect any trash/contractor bags.
Qualifications:
Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally without force.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
Security Officer Qualifications and Skills:
Armed Guard
Must have own weapon
Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 12 hours.
Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent sense of judgment.
Can stay alert at all times.
Able to be punctual for shift.
Ability to complete incident reports.
Well-groomed appearance.
Guard Attire:
Black cargo pants
Black shoes
Ace Prevention security shirt and hat will be provided
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Guard must be Armed and Licensed.
