Westmoreland Protection Agency, Inc., an industry leading security company is seeking experiencedARMEDSECURITY OFFICERS FOR a Federal location in the Northside area of JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA. 1st and 2nd and 3rd shift available.

HERE’S AN IDEA OF WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO –
Provide a high level of Customer Service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site specific policies and when appropriate
De-escalate and remain calm during critical situations, able to quickly problem solve.
Work under occasional pressure or tension
Respond to life threating or emergency situations
Foot and vehicle patrol
Traffic control
Frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting and stooping
Occasional running or sprinting
Work alone while on duty
Maintain all required certifications and training
Be able to safely lift up to 40 pounds
Complete other duties as assigned
HERE’S WHAT WE REQUIRE –
Successfully pass a federal background check and credit check
Possessing a valid Driver’s License for the state in which you reside and satisfactory results of a Motor Vehicle Report.
Must have a Florida State issued “D” and “G” license
Negative drug screening
Must pass a Physical Assessment test prior to placement
Must be neat in appearance i.e., clean shaven, no visible offensive tattoos or face piercings
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be in good physical and psychological health
Have reliable transportation
Must be punctual, reliable and dependable
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
2 years security experience
Offer of employment is conditional uponpassing a pre-employment federal background check and drug test and maintaining a clean driving record
Additional Qualifications we prefer:
Previous security experience in an armed environment, Military or Law Enforcement
