Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills, a background in law enforcement or military service, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. As an Armed Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and loss prevention strategies.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing conflict management techniques as necessary.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats or breaches.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports on incidents and observations.
Enforce company policies and procedures related to security measures and emergency response.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies or medical incidents.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review by management.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with security best practices and legal requirements.
Requirements
Valid armed security guard certification or equivalent military/law enforcement training.
Proven experience in conflict management, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR; certification preferred.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and their operation is highly desirable.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
