PROFESSIONAL SECURITY OFFICER
PAY RATE $25.00-$28.00/Hr.

Requirements
We are seeking to hire highly experienced and motivated armed security guards with verified police qualifications: This job is for candidates that have completed police academy, Reserve, honorably retired from law enforcement or military.
-Must have P.O.S.T. or PC832
-Must have Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit
-The ideal candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, communications skills, writing skills, de-escalation skills, and have experience in working for
-The security professional must have the ability to tactfully deescalate certain situations in a professional matter without drawing extra attention
Responsibilities
-To undertake the surveillance of client’s premises
-Responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing trespasses, vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior
-Keep client’s premises safe and problem-free
-Report safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing to the supervisor
-Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Armed Security Officers and specific protective device and weapons qualifications
-Maintain awareness and familiarity with the site-specific post orders, SOPs and information in company provided handbook
-Report maintenance and safety conditions which might endanger client, it’s associates or public safety
-Must be able to work WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS
-Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property
-Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
-Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocols before arrival of local authorities
-Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences by completing a DAR and/or a report on Tracktik
Skills
· Proven background as law enforcement or military
· Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
· Excellent report writing
· Excellent surveillance and observation skills
· Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense skills
Minimum Hiring Standards
· Must have a reliable means of communication
· Must have a reliable means of transportation
· Must have the legal right to work in the United States
· Must have a valid Guard Card
· Must have a valid Exposed Firearm Permit
· Must have P.O.S.T. or PC832
· Must have the ability to learn how to operate basic smart scheduling and reporting apps
