Security Officer (Armed)
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential threats or suspicious activities.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage.
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring that all incidents are documented accurately.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when required, providing necessary information regarding incidents.
Ensuring that your weapon is well maintained and secure at all times.
Utilizing your weapon in times of extreme attack, when non-violent options have been exhausted.
Attending refresher training in weapons use, if applicable.
Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations.
Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.
Qualifications
Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Must be Guard certified.
Firearm certified
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 32.0 per week
