Armed Security Officer – $22.50 per Hour
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Schedule: Thursday/Friday (10pm-6am) & Saturday/Sunday (6am-6pm) – 40 hours per week.
Compensation: $22.50/hour (drops to $20.50/hr if candidate doesn’t complete Armed Training).

Job Summary
The Armed Security Officer will work at our state-of-the-art critical infrastructure facility in Scottsdale, AZ, responsible for safeguarding the facility’s property, personnel, and equipment.
Essential Functions
Create a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.
Communicate appropriately with supervisors, peers, client associates, and the general public professionally.
Maintain a flexible schedule and ability to work overtime if required.
Ensure that the security team meets organizational goals for productivity and performance management.
Display intermediate/advanced computer skills to utilize the proprietary software.
Conduct thorough foot patrols around the premises.
Provide exceptional customer service while displaying a positive attitude.
Understand standard operating procedures and client safety programs.
Make ethical judgment decisions according to company and client policies.
Demonstrate keen attention to detail to ensure safety and security.
Handle sensitive information confidentially.
Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity in the performance of duties.
Must be at least 21 years of age, per state standards.
Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR.
Armed Security Guard License in Arizona (assistance provided).
One year of experience in contract security, military, corrections, or law enforcement.
Completion of Anderson Security’s Armed Training Program.
CPR, AED, and First Aid certified (provided for free).
Authorized to work in the United States legally.
Submit a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent education.
If military experience, provide a copy of DD-214, Form 4.
