We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization. The Security Specialist will be responsible for monitoring premises, managing conflicts, and implementing loss prevention strategies.
Responsibilities
Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure safety.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the protection of assets.
Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Maintain detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing necessary information and support.
Conduct first aid and CPR as needed, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
Train staff on security protocols and emergency procedures to enhance overall safety awareness.
Qualifications
Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Military background or training is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various situations.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and law enforcement.
