Job Summary:
Summit Protective Investigative Services (SPIS) is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Security Flex Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Security Flex Officer, you will play an essential role in maintaining safety and security across various client sites. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, the ability to adapt to different environments, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality security services.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Coverage: Provide security coverage at multiple client sites, adapting quickly to different environments and security protocols.
Patrol and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises, deter criminal activity, and enforce site-specific policies.
Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, following established procedures to mitigate risks and ensure safety.
Access Control: Manage access points by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit, and ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed on-site.
Report Writing: Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees, addressing concerns and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company policies, legal regulations, and site-specific rules, including health and safety guidelines.
Training: Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on security protocols, emergency procedures, and client requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
Flexibility: Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and be willing to travel to different client sites.
Certifications: Must possess a valid California Guard Card.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, employees, and the public.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, respond quickly to emergencies, and handle physically demanding tasks.
Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
