Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This position requires a proactive approach to security, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to maintain constant vigilance over the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, implementing appropriate first aid or CPR when necessary.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
Document incidents and prepare reports as required for law enforcement or management review.
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary for enhanced security measures.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks.
Requirements
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Proficient in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with the public.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various conditions.
Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
