Full Job Description
Refuge Services Group Inc. is looking for Security Officer Professionals that possess superior customer service skills as they are a prerequisite for employment. Must have open availability. Duties Include:
Monitor surveillance and security alarm systems.
Provide assistance to business owners in emergency situations.
Keep detailed logs and records of incidents at assigned locations.
Other duties assigned by Refuge Services Group Inc.
Write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology and web or app-based software during each shift that align with site instruction/post orders.
Consistently arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instruction, follow dress code and appearance standards and expectations.
Interacting with internal and external customers on site cultivating a customer service relationship striving to provide peace of mind.
Consistently communicates with the Advanced Patrol Officer and or the Branch Patrol Supervisor to promptly report any customer or property related information and concerns.
Responsible for the care of any RSG Security equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards, uniforms, and devices, etc.
Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Branch Patrol Supervisor such as reporting standards and service quality.
Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.
Report and appropriately address fire alarms, burglary alarms, requests for assistance and criminal acts; including but not limited to: vandalism, theft, illegal entry or attempted entry, suspicious behavior, domestic or workplace violence, threats, speed or other vehicle violations, illegal drug use, inappropriate use of facility or client equipment or property.
Stop, screen, inquire, and inspect vehicles and pedestrians entering and / or exiting the facility as directed by post orders, rules, regulations, guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
Military or law enforcement background preferred.
Must have a valid Florida Security Class D & Class G License.
High school diploma or equivalent
Current driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
A professional appearance and demeanor.
Able to stand and or sit for extended periods of time.
Must have their own firearm.
Always alert and ready.
Punctual and dependable.
Excellent with problem-solving.
Adaptable to an ever-changing environment.
Works well with a team, and is able to lead when needed.
Operate a smartphone efficiently.
