We are seeking experienced Security Guards who are not only skilled in maintaining security and safety protocols but also possess exceptional professionalism, compassion, and empathy. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of providing excellent security services while also demonstrating care and understanding towards individuals in various situations. This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches, unauthorized access, and other safety hazards.
Monitor and operate security equipment, such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting visitors, employees, and other stakeholders with kindness and respect.
Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms promptly and effectively, taking appropriate action to resolve issues while maintaining a calm and compassionate demeanor.
Communicate clearly and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including employees, visitors, and law enforcement officials, using active listening and empathy to de-escalate conflicts and diffuse tense situations.
Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security activities, including observations, incidents, and investigations.
Stay updated on security best practices, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance and effectiveness in security operations.
Collaborate with other security personnel and team members to maintain a cohesive and professional security presence.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a security guard, preferably in a professional or corporate setting.
Proven ability to demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy in dealing with individuals in various situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to de-escalate conflicts and diffuse tense situations using active listening and empathy.
Strong observation and surveillance skills, with the ability to identify potential security breaches and take appropriate action.
Ability to operate security equipment, such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
High level of emotional intelligence and ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other security personnel and team members.
Familiarity with security best practices, regulations, and company policies.
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
