Duties:
must be 21 and older for this position
8pm-6am
– Patrol assigned areas and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules- Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions- Monitor CCTV cameras to ensure the safety and security of the premises- Respond and investigate any disturbances- Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs- Escort individuals to designated locations, such as parking lots, rooms, or exits- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
– Help de-escalate guest at the front desk and provide a barrier between employees and guests when needed.
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns
-contact police and detain when needed for police arrival
-help the front desk with delivry of things to guests rooms and helping do small task outside the “security profile” while on property clocked in
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position- Knowledge of security operations and procedures- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods
