Job Description
Position: Armed Security Officer
Location:
Denton, TX, United States of America
Salary: $24.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Manning and operating the main gate
Maintaining 100% accountability of access control
Monitoring surveillance cameras
Patrolling property and inspecting security measures
Maintaining logs and assisting with emergency procedures
Responding to and investigating security breaches, incidents, and alarms
Reporting security and policy violations
Assisting HR with personnel actions
Acting as facility telephone operator
Performing other assigned duties
Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas PSB Level 3 or Level 4 Armed License
Minimum of 3 years security industry experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Ability to endure extreme heat and cold
Ability to walk up to 4 miles during an 8-hour shift
OC qualification
Provide Glock 17 or Glock 19 pistol, black Level III holster, duty belt, and OC spray
Annual qualification with duty weapon
