We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Armed Security Officer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property.
Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of clients and their property.
Monitor and control access to restricted areas.
Respond to alarms and emergencies.
Write detailed reports of incidents and activities.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must possess a valid Arizona Armed Guard Card.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have at least 2 years of experience as an armed security officer.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bi-lingual Spanish-speaking preferred.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Mandatory training is required in Pittsburgh, PA for the first week of hire.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to climb stairs and walk throughout the community.
Must have good vision and hearing.
Schedule:
Must be flexible to work rotating shifts (including holidays and weekends). Retail operation is open from 8am – 8pm Monday through Sunday.
