Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This position requires a proactive approach to security, including surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. The Armed Security Officer will work closely with law enforcement and other security personnel to ensure the highest level of safety.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor premises and report any irregularities.
Conduct thorough inspections of property and equipment to ensure safety protocols are being followed.
Engage in conflict management, de-escalating situations as necessary while maintaining professionalism.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies as needed.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Skills
Proficient in surveillance techniques and the use of CCTV systems.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Certified in CPR and First Aid, with a focus on emergency response procedures.
Knowledgeable in law enforcement practices and loss prevention strategies.
Military experience is a plus, providing an understanding of security protocols and discipline.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and law enforcement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
