We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officers to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This is a critical role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any potential security threats or breaches
– Respond promptly to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, or criminal activity
– Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry or exit
– Conduct thorough investigations of any incidents or suspicious activities
– Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
– Loss prevention techniques to minimize theft or damage to property
– CPR and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if necessary
– Proficiency in surveillance techniques and the use of CCTV systems
– Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security and law enforcement
– Strong conflict management skills to deescalate tense situations effectively
– Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
– Familiarity with military tactics and strategies for enhanced security measures
Certification:
– Valid armed security officer certification
