Phoenix Counter Risk LLC. is seeking a dedicated Security Specialist to join our Houston, Texas team. Candidates must possess an active Level III Commissioned Security Officer License. Consideration will also be given to candidates who possess a level 4 Personal Protection Officer License. All candidates must have their own duty weapons, equipment, reliable transportation, and a smartphone.
The ideal candidate will have a background of a minimum of two years in a position of armed security, military experience, law enforcement, or first responder. Candidates must possess strong skills in verbal conflict management, CPR, first aid, surveillance techniques, and relevant certifications.
Duties:
– Act lawfully and reasonably in direct defense of life or property.
– Monitor and authorize access and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security.
– Conduct patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
– When needed, apprehend criminals, recover stolen property, and evict violators.
– Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week.
Experience level: Minimum of two years of armed security.
Requirements:
MUST possess an active level III Commissioned Security Officer License
MUST possess a physical printed copy of PSP-31 (Firearm Proficiency Certificate)
Experience Required:
ARMED Security: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
Level 3 Armed Security License (CSO) (Required)
Ability to Commute:
Must have a reliable vehicle.
Location:
Houston, TX
Schedule:
Shifts range from 5 – 12 hours.
Shifts available: 7 days a week, including overnight shifts.
Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
Work Location: In person, various locations.
Additional opportunities to travel and work in other TX cities.
