We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Armed Security Officer will utilize their training in conflict management, surveillance, and law enforcement to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Utilize CCTV and other surveillance equipment to monitor activities and gather evidence when necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of security systems and equipment to ensure functionality.
Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance as required during emergencies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary for incident reporting and investigations.
Engage in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Requirements
Valid armed security officer license or certification as required by state regulations.
Experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in conflict management techniques and the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with clients.
