Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Enforce property rules and regulations
– Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees
– Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
– Assist with emergency response procedures, such as evacuations or lockdowns
Requirements:
– Proven work experience as a Security Officer (2 years + required)
– Knowledge of security operations and procedures
– Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
– Able to document incidents through app on your phone for daily hourly reports for shift worked
Must have DCJS Armed Security Officer/Courier card. (If you don’t have your firearms endorsement please DO NOT apply.)
You must have reliable transportation with ability to use own vehicle to patrol.
Shift available is Thursday – Sunday, 4pm – 11pm (Approximately 56 hrs. every two weeks, potential for more if desired)
Note: This position requires carrying a firearm while on duty. Only qualified individuals with the necessary licenses should apply.
