Armed Security Officer (Part-Time)
About the Job
Currently seeking NCPPSB-registered armed officers. We prefer at least 3 months of verifiable security experience. Experienced or retired law enforcement/military with background in de-escalation tactics is a plus. Must be fluent in English, communicate well in writing as well as orally, and have good telephone/radio communications skills.
Shift:
6:00PM-12:00AM Friday
6:00PM-12:00AM Saturday
Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Pass all firearms training including pistol with an acceptable score
Ability to work all shifts; weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather
Working cell phone and email for timekeeping and communication
Detail and goal-oriented
Of good moral character
Possess good hygiene and have a neat and clean appearance
Stand/walk for long periods of time.
Must have a driver’s license.
Stand, climb (to include using a ladder), bend, and lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
Have a working cell phone and email service you use daily.
If needed, willing to work holidays, weekends, and during inclement weather.
Pass a drug screen (as well as random drug screens).
Pass a thorough background check.
Clean, sharp professional appearance.
Ability to work alongside law enforcement and other authority
Sharp report writing skills and memory recall
Job Type:Part-Time
Pay:$18-$19 per hour.
