Armed Security Officer
Duties:
-The Ability to consistently arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instruction, follow dress code and appearance standards and expectations. ——Walk assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of personnel, visitors, and property
– Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to any suspicious activity
– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
– Respond to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, or criminal incidents
– Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any potential security risks or hazards
– Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents or observations
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
-Responsible for the care of any Signal equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards, uniforms, and devices, etc.
-Consistently communicates with the Advanced Patrol Officer and or the Branch Patrol Supervisor to promptly report any customer or property related information and concerns.
Experience:
-Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
– Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-Previous experience as an Armed Security Officer, Police Officer, or Military Police experience.
