Description:
This individual will support security and facility administrative operations. These duties will include a wide range of responsibilities for multiple functions, to include security operations, access control, visit authorization requests, facilities access management, administration reports as necessary and support to Finance, IT and HR. Reports to the Director of Facilities and Security.

Key Duties:
Security
Maintenance of a Facility Security Office in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
Prepares for Annual Assessments conducted by Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) or other agencies.
Works cooperatively to establish, maintain and evaluate company security program, including all facilities assigned to JRC, physical security, access control, AIS Compliance and personnel security clearance activities.
Responsible for all assigned personnel security reviews, e-QIP review and monitoring, Visit Authorization Requests (VAR), Secure Web Fingerprint Transaction (SWFT) and Common Access Card (CAC) submissions. Update, review, monitor and report changes to personnel clearance in Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
Coordinates and communicates with investigative agencies for all industrial security functions as they pertain to processing, tracking and file management of facility clearances, KMPs and personnel security clearances.
Processes SF-86 and associated security documents (via e-QIP) for submission to DSS as well as other agencies and maintains files on all employees with clearances. In compliance with PII and PHI guidelines.
Conducts all required initial and annual security briefings, IAW NISPOM. Coordinate briefings with various customer security offices as necessary. Prepares and distributes all security awareness training and briefings to cleared employees. Assist on the Insider Threat Program (NISPOM Chapter 3) with the Security Director
Responsible for remaining informed about changes to NISPOM regulations and prepare for annual security audits and other inspections or assessments as required.
Must have or be able to obtain STEPP/DCSA required FSO, JPAS, and Insider Threat training
Prepares reports for security violations, suspensions, and adverse information and distributes to appropriate individuals as needed.
Perform physical and personal security checks to determining physical security needs or updates.
Technology-savvy – must be able to create documents (e.g., MS, Adobe), download/upload materials, login to HR systems to pull employee information, convert file formats, etc. Super-user preferred.
Other duties as assigned or necessary pertaining to Security.
Cybersecurity
Monitors and maintains integrity of established IT security policies, practices, and procedures IAW NISPOM
Develops and documents standardized user (internal customer) processes and procedures.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an FSO or alternate FSO role.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree.
