Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position involves monitoring premises, preventing loss, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Security Officer will utilize various surveillance tools and techniques to protect property and deter criminal activity.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing immediate assistance as needed.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in conflict situations.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or provide information.
Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations as required.
Requirements
Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to pass background checks and meet any licensing requirements as mandated by local laws.
A certificate in security training or related field is a plus.
