Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee our security operations and ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, along with the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure compliance with established protocols.
Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify and address potential security threats.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises to assess security measures and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
Train and mentor security staff on best practices in conflict management and emergency response.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security activities for reporting purposes.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to enhance security measures.
On-Call, scheduling , cover open shifts
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry or law enforcement background.
Certification in surveillance operations or related fields is highly desirable.
First aid and CPR certification are preferred.
Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
A militarized background is a plus but not mandatory.
