Armed/Unarmed Security Officer – PT & FT Jobs in Lexington, KY at Federated Enforcement Agency
Duties
– Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
– Act as a visible deterrent to prevent unauthorized access or activities
– Conduct security checks of the premises, including doors, windows, and gates
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities
– Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
– Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security regulations
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements
– Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
– Knowledge of security operations and procedures
– Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
– Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
– High school diploma or equivalent required; licensed security guard
