Local security company is seeking a full-time service technician with a minimum of 3 years’ experience installing residential and commercial security systems. Knowledge of hardwired and wireless security systems, fire systems, access systems and IP Video systems required. We offer a company vehicle, laptop and benefits. Clean driving record required. Must have the ability to pass a background check and pass drug screening. DCJS registration is ideal but not mandatory. There will be a 30 probationary period to ensure skills match submitted resume and that applicant is eligible to obtain necessary certifications.
Summary
As a Security System Installer/Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various security systems, including CCTV and fire alarms. Reporting to the Security Systems Manager, your role is essential in ensuring the safety and security of our clients. With your core skills in low voltage electrical work and cabling, along with your service technician experience, you will effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues. Your premium skills in computer networking and system design will enhance our service offerings, while relevant skills in alarm system sales and telecommunication will contribute to client satisfaction and system efficiency.
Responsibilities
Install and configure security systems, including CCTV and fire alarms, ensuring compliance with schematics and low voltage standards.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for cabling and installation tasks.
Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
Document service visits and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.

Pay: $35,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
