GENERAL SUMMARY:Delphinus Engineering is hiring for a qualified Assistant Facility Security Officer (FSO) in our Norfolk, VA office.
LOCATION:Norfolk, VA
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Director of Security with daily implementation and execution of the National Industrial Security Program Operation Manual (NISPOM).
Develop, administer, and audit security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export-controlled data.
Assist in administering and maintaining a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program to include Initial Security Briefings, Refresher Training, and Debriefings.
Develop and maintain an effective “Document Inventory and Control Program” for management of a classified system, media, and documents.
Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Process employee visit requests, background checks, and badge requests.
Provide assistance to employees completing initial and periodic reinvestigations.
Perform self-inspections.
