Job Summary
This Position is for the Assistant Director of Security at Short Pump Town Center Mall
Andy Frain Services is looking for a highly motivated individual that is multi-task oriented to assist in managing a Security contract. The role involves managing the accountability of all Supervisors and staff for the assigned accounts, with full responsibility for performance, service, and budget. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for all employees, vendors, and personnel, supporting security needs, and establishing relationships with local police, fire departments, and facility reports.
The role requires demonstrating and abiding by Andy Frain Services’ Core Values and operating principles, maintaining 100% staff training compliance, and demonstrating strong leadership and professional image.
Responsibilities/Duties
Perform duties in accordance with safety practices, company policies, and legal regulations; report unsafe conditions.
Provide quality service and positive interactions with visitors, vendors, and employees.
Lead security operations at assigned sites, enforce programs, ensure post orders are followed, and maintain logs and reports.
Develop and implement security procedures, maintain knowledge of emergency policies, and respond to alarms or emergencies.
Ensure the operation of life safety systems, CCTV, elevators, and access controls, coordinating maintenance as needed.
Counsel and discipline staff appropriately, document actions, and assist in training security personnel.
Communicate regularly with management and client representatives about performance and security issues.
Assist in payroll, personnel management, and ensuring adequate security coverage.
Inspect posts, ensure proper sign-in/out procedures, and meet with clients to ensure requirements are met.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.
Education
and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate’s Degree preferred.
Willingness to undergo background checks and possess a valid driver’s license.
Experience in loss prevention, CCTV, access systems, with at least 1 year in a management role within security.
CPR and First Aid certification are a plus.
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of facility layout, security procedures, and management practices.
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage staff effectively.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to various environments and handle stressful situations professionally.
Maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
Working Conditions
Requires physical and mental capacity to perform essential functions, including dealing with authorities, working in varying weather conditions, handling sensitive information, and possibly working overtime or in stressful situations.
Salary and Benefits
The salary is $43,888, with Vacation/PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision, and 401K benefits.
