Joe Krentzman & Son is the leading scrap metal recycler in Central Pennsylvania. We are looking for team oriented candidates who are looking to join a dynamic and growing business.
This is a non-seasonal position.
Requirements of the Security Officer position include:
Safety. We operate a business that focuses on safety every second of every day. You must be able to work safely, and be interested in being an active part of company wide safety for yourself and for the health and safety of your teammates.
Reliable transportation to work EVERY day. This is a full time job. Your job security demands full time attendance as per the security guard weekly schedule. Period.
Must have a Team-Oriented, Positive Attitude, and must be willing to communicate respectfully with other Teammates. We work together here.
Our Security position requires communication skills, attention to detail, and integrity.
The job consists of securing our industrial facility during the non-working hours, making regular rounds (on foot) to select checkpoints throughout our facility to ensure plant security.
Answer any incoming phone calls that occur outside of regular business hours
Document any inbound trucks entering our facility after regular hours
Keep a record of all employees and visitors that enter/exit our facility

1.5x hourly rate after 40 weekly hours.
Full time candidates will receive health insurance at 90 days
