Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and guests. This role requires a proactive approach to conflict management, and loss prevention. A strong background in law enforcement or security is preferred, along with relevant certifications.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Operate CCTV systems to oversee activities and identify potential threats.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
Conduct thorough inspections of premises to prevent theft or vandalism.
Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when required.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to report incidents or suspicious activities.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Enforce company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Valid security certification is a plus.
