Responsibilities
Conduct regular and random bike patrols of designated areas.
Enforce rider safety and perform various security duties depending on the post.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
Control access at entrances and exits, monitoring visitors and employees.
Monitor surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful activities.
Use communication devices effectively and perform CPR or first aid when necessary.
Maintain credentials as per contract requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED;
Associate Degree or two years of college preferred.
At least 2 years of verifiable experience as an unarmed security officer.
Valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard Card/Permit.
Ability to ride bicycles proficiently.
Customer service mindset and effective communication skills.
Physical Demands
Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping.
Remain alert and react quickly to various situations for up to 12 hours.
