ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Supervises, leads and directs Security personnel ensuring compliance with all gaming regulations, internal controls and company and department policies and procedures
Creates, implements and adjusts employee shift schedules to accommodate resort operational needs
Keeps up to date on current trends of Casino Security Officers concepts, practices and procedures
Responsible for training employees to work safely and efficiently within current regulatory guidelines
Ensures the integrity of gambling, count room and cash handling procedures
Handle, count, verify gaming chips in multiple denominations
Prepare and maintain essential paperwork and reports
Assists security personnel with tasks as needed
Computer data entry of required information
Conducts property inspection tours
Reports all gaming regulation violations
Reports all violations of internal controls and company and departmental policies and procedures
Assists with transport of drop boxes to count area when needed
Transports guests via company vehicle as necessary
Watches for and reports any potential safety hazards
Quickly responds to and handles matters involving difficult guests or employees
Quickly responds to and contacts local law enforcement, fire department or other emergency personnel in matters involving medical emergencies experienced by guests or employees
Works independently
All other duties as assigned
